Compassion Beyond the Clinic: Dr. Aashay Mody Visits VCare Animal Rescue as Part of Welcare Hospital’s CSR Initiative

At Welcare Hospital, the philosophy of healing goes far beyond the walls of an operating room or clinic. True care, as we believe, is rooted in empathy — and it extends to every living being. In line with this belief, Dr. Aashay Mody recently paid a visit to VCare, a dedicated NGO working tirelessly for the rescue, rehabilitation, and wellbeing of stray and injured animals in Vadodara.

This initiative was part of Welcare Hospital’s ongoing CSR (Corporate Social Responsibility) program, which aims to give back to the community in meaningful ways. While Dr. Mody is best known for his precision and excellence in the field of knee replacement surgery, his compassion clearly knows no bounds — be it humans or animals.

At VCare, Dr. Mody spent time interacting with rescued animals and learning about the daily challenges faced by the NGO. He also met the dedicated caregivers and volunteers whose love and relentless efforts keep this mission alive. From petting playful pups to understanding the rehabilitation process of injured strays, the visit was a humbling reminder that kindness is a universal language — and healing comes in many forms.

As Dr. Mody shared, “It’s a privilege to contribute to causes that reflect the very essence of care. Every life matters — and sometimes, helping a voiceless soul can be the most fulfilling act of healing.”

Welcare Hospital is proud to support organizations like VCare, which strive to make the world a better place for our four-legged friends. Because at Welcare, We Care — for all.
